Our Crew

Native Floridian Captain CJ, and his wife Jayne, are the proud owners of Banana River Boat Tours. The couple know the Banana River like the back of their hand, and are passionate about sharing its beauty with others.

They have been taking people on tours of the Banana River for years, and have perfected the art of Wildlife Tours. Their shared love of the water and wildlife is evident in every tour they give.

The couple also puts safety first, and wants to make sure that everyone who takes their tour feels comfortable and safe while on board.

Banana River Boat Tours provides a variety of services including multiple types of trips and tours.


Can I bring alcohol?

Yes. For adults 21 and older, you may bring adult beverages onboard. Glass containers are prohibited.  

What is the maximum number of people permitted onboard?

According to the U.S. Coast Guard, six people is the maximum amount permitted. 

Do kids count?

Yes, any person regardless of age counts toward the U.S. Coast Guard. Anyone under the age of six MUST wear a life jacket at ALL times.

Do we need life jackets?

No, we provide them. However, anyone under the age of 6 MUST wear a life jacket at ALL times.

When is the best time to see wildlife?

Wildlife is unpredictable and untrained, so there are no guarantees when it comes to tours. However, our experienced captain does the best with his knowledge and background of the Central Florida Boat Tours to ensure our guests have an unforgettable experience they will take with them forever. 

How do I purchase a ticket?

Please call us at 321-759-TOUR with your credit card information ready to reserve your seat. Nothing is charged until you’re on the boat. If you choose to pay with a card, a 5% cc fee is added to your total.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Should you need to cancel your reservation or change the number of people in your party, please allow us at least 24 hours’ notice. We will take your credit card number to hold your seats and confirm your reservation if you book by phone. If you cancel or change your group size within 24 hours of your scheduled tour time or do not show up for your tour, you will be charged the total price for the tour. 

When purchasing in advance, we will gladly refund you as long as you cancel or make adjustments to your reservation at least 24 hours before your tour. If we need to cancel your tour due to weather, you will not be charged.

Can we bring animals?

Only service dogs are allowed due to insurance reasons.

Are you wheelchair accessible?

We are wheelchair accessible. We purposely built the double gate on the boat to accommodate wheelchairs, both power, and manual.

Is the boat covered?

We have a double Bimini that covers 3/4 of the boat.

Is there a bathroom onboard?

There is not a bathroom on the boat. However, we leave from a county park with restrooms and plenty of free parking.

What if the weather is bad on the day of our tour?

Anytime the weather is a concern, we contact you to ensure that if we need to cancel or reschedule, you aren’t left waiting at the dock in bad weather.

Can I book the whole boat?

We do provide private cruises. Call 321-759-TOUR for details.

I’m on a cruise ship stopping in port, are you easy to get to?

Banana River Boat Tours is only a 5-10 min drive from the port. If you book far enough in advance, we can accommodate your time depending on our schedule.
